Hello dear members,
recently more and more submissions are being declined and some don't understand why.
First of all: We are a
square art group. A square image has equal width and height. There are no portrait or landscape formats for square images.
Common reasons for declining a submission:Your image ...
- is not square. For a definition you can also take a look here
- is an ID or too similar to that kind of deviation. There's nothing wrong with IDs, they just don't fit the concept of an art group. If you've drawn or modeled yourself feel free to send it in, but a simple photograph will probably declined.
- has just terrible lighting. Yes we know that you can't have a full set of spot lights in nature or similar. But something is wrong, if it's hard to differ between the focus of the image and the background.
- simply does not fit our quality standards. We do not want to be an extension of your gallery. Keep in mind that your submissions are presented to a wide range of artists and they may not want to see the average snapshots.
